Park Eun-bin is a South Korean actress. She is well-known for playing the role of Woo Young-woo, an autistic lawyer, in the 2022 South Korean television series “Extraordinary Attorney Woo.” She became popular after playing one of the lead roles in the 2016 series “Hello, My Twenties!” for two seasons. Her prominent TV shows are “Hot Stove League” (2019), “Do You Like Brahms” (2020), and “The King’s Affection” (2021).


Park Eun-bin was born on Friday, 4 September 1992 (age 30 years; as of 2022) in Jamsil-dong, Songpa District, Seoul, South Korea. Her zodiac sign is Virgo. She went to Seoul Bangi Elementary School in Seoul. Later, she studied at Bangi Middle School and then completed her high school at Youngpa Girls’ High School in Seoul. She graduated from Sogang University in Seoul, South Korea with two degrees, a degree in Psychology, and a degree in Journalism and Broadcasting. She was a top-tier and diligent student in college. She started acting at the age of five and balanced her studies with acting. In an interview with a fashion magazine, she said,
When I was younger, the person who wanted me to do this work was not my parents, but myself. That’s why I had to do everything I could to succeed.”

In an interview, Eun-bin shared her views on dating. She said,
I want to hide the fact that I have no experience in relationships because it’s embarrassing. However, I don’t like being called ‘no boyfriend since birth actress’ because it seems like something is wrong with me. Love is so foreign to me. I don’t think I know the true meaning of it just yet.”


She follows Paganism. Paganism was first described by Christians in the fourth century as a religion followed by the people in the Roman empire who held different religious beliefs than the mainstream religions. Initially, Pagans practised polytheism or ethnic religions. Modern pagans express a worldview including pantheistic and polytheistic, but some are monotheistic.

She started acting at the very young age of 6. In 1998, she debuted as a child actor with the television series “White Nights 3.98” as Choi So-young alongside actor Choi Min-soo.

In 1999, she played the role of Jung-min in the television series “I Only Know Love.” She worked as a supporting child actor in the series “The Thief’s Daughter” in 2000. In 2001, she appeared in the series “Empress Myeongseong” in which she portrayed the character of young Lady Min. In the same year, she worked in the historical drama series “Sangdo,” which is based on the novel “The Merchant of Joseon” by Choi In-ho. She appeared in the 2001 drama series “Guardian Angel” starring popular South Korean actress Song Hye-kyo. In 2002, she worked in multiple TV series including “Me and My Transformed Dad,” “My Love, Patzzi,” “Glass Slippers,” and more. She worked in a historical drama series “Age of Warriors” in which she portrayed the character of Queen Sapyeong in 2003. In 2005, she appeared as young Seo Eun-ha in the series “Resurrection” directed by Park Chan-hong. In an interview, when she was asked about how she managed her studies in school along with acting, she replied,
I had to go to school and work at the same time, so I had no time to relax. I never really went out or broke the rules to have fun. That was a little difficult for me at the time.”
In 2006, she played the role of Moon Suk-kyung, which was one of the main characters in the period television series “Seoul 1945;” the movie is set around 1945 when South Korea was going through ideological turmoil after independence from Japanese colonial rule. She appeared in the 2007 historical fantasy series “The Legend” starring actor Bae Yong-joon in which she played the role of young Seo Kiha. In 2011, she appeared to play a cameo role in the series “Dream High.” She worked in the 2012 romantic series “Operation Proposal,” which was a remake of the Japanese drama “Operation Love.” She played the lead role of Oh Dong-hee in the 2016 Television series “Father, I’ll Take Care of You.” In 2017, she appeared in a lead role in the TV series “Judge vs. Judge” in which she played the role of Lee Jung-joo. She played the main role of an assistant detective named Jung Yeo-wool in the 2018 drama series “The Ghost Detective.”

In 2000, she debuted with the military film “A Girl’s Prayer.” She worked in two films, “Memories” and “The Romantic President” in 2002. In 2004, she appeared in a short film titled “Has the Shower Ended?,” and in the same year, she worked in the film “How to Keep My Love.” She played the character of Na-rae in the 2010 horror film “Death Bell 2: Bloody Camp.”

She was cast to play a cameo role in the action comedy film “Secretly, Greatly” in 2013. She played the role of Kyung-hee, one of the lead characters, in the 2022 sci-fi action horror film “The Witch: Part 2. The Other One.”

She appeared as a child actress in the music video of the song “Cold” by the South Korean singer and actor Lee Ki-chan. In the same year, she was cast as an actor for the music video of the song “Sad Day” by Jung Yoon-don. In 2005, she acted in the music video for the song “Thank You for Loving Me” by S. Jin. In the 2009 song “Romantic Winter” by Kim Jin-pyo, she shared a kiss on screen with the opposite actor Han Ji-hoo. She appeared in the music video of the song “I’ll Be There” sung by Teyang, a member of the popular K-pop boy band Big Bang. In the same year, she was cast as an actor in the music video for the song “Like a Star” sung by Taeyeon, a member of the prominent K-pop girl group Girls’ generation, and pop musician The One. In 2011, she acted in music videos for two songs, “Without You” by BoM and “You and Me, Heart Fluttering” by a Korean Indie group, Acoustic Collabo.

Eun-bin sang the song ‘A Little Love Story’ for the Original soundtrack of the TV series ‘Operation Proposal’ in 2012. She lent her voice to one of the original soundtracks, ‘The Blue Night of Jeju Island,’ of the 2022 television series ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo.’

As of 2022, She charges 400 million Korean won for a one-year modelling contract. Reportedly, after the success of the TV show “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” she started charging 200 million Korean won; earlier, she, reportedly, used to charge 100 million Korean won.


  • Initially, Park Eun-bin declined to play the role of attorney Woo in the TV series “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” as she found the role a little difficult to play and would not be able to do justice with the role. In an interview, she said,
    I knew it was a good story but I was not confident in playing it well at that time. It was a work that made me feel greedy but a little burdensome at the same time. I was afraid and I wondered if I could perform it without hurting anyone or not. It felt really difficult but at some point, I found a clue, and from then on, it was solved. There was a time when I felt the expectation that the director and writer had for me. I also have faith in myself. This work sometimes reminds me of my belief and it has given me the courage to face my fear.”

  • In an interview, she shared her experience on how she prepared to play the role of autistic lawyer Woo Young-woo in the TV series “Extraordinary Attorney Woo,” she said,
    I studied like a student preparing for an exam. I tried to memorize the script by writing down the lines on the paper, find ways to clearly deliver the lines and revise the sentences. It was an intense seven months. Many scenes from ‘Extraordinary Attorney Woo’ were an experiment to test my limits as an actor and a human being.”
  • The show “Extraordinary Attorney Woo” set a record after receiving the highest ratings in the history of ENA, a South Korean TV channel. The show became the sixth highest-rated TV drama by the number of viewers and the seventh highest-rated drama in Korean cable television history.
